We had an awesome Mojave Max Assembly season. Sadly, our last assembly for the year was on February 8, 2018.

Students got to learn about the Mojave Desert, desert tortoise biology and the weather in the Mojave Desert which plays an important part as to when Mojave Max will emerge in the spring.

We hope that all students learned enough to help them make their educated  guesses for the Mojave Max Emergence Contest. The grand prize winner of the Emergence Contest and his or her class get some awesome prizes including a field trip and pizza party to meet the live Mojave Max tortoise at the Springs Preserve.
